Josh Brownhill was a fantastic player for BFC.

As you say team picks itself which is a bit worrying. The one you'have picked seems the best available. With Bree rather than Yiadon as he's better defensively.

To cope in the championship we may have to go away from 442 drop a striker and put sessi in behind hourihane and scowen. Just a thought.

Do you think we have a striker capable of playing up front on their own? Winnall can't and so far Bradshaw doesn't look particularly comfortable in the role.

We will see over the next few games if we concede a few goals then 442 will need to change before confidence drops, as for the lone striker one of them will have to learn fast. Anyway looking forward to tomorrow and think we could have a good go at them.

This isn't aimed at anyone as it happens in nearly every single relevant thread about strikers but why doesn't Marley get any notice or credit for the striker role? If, as some people suggest we end up moving towards a 4-5-1 sometimes he would be brilliant for the lone front man. He closes down, comes deep and makes a lot of unselfish runs and although his touch is sometimes a bit off, he is very good at protecting the ball with his size and strength. He's going to surprise a lot of people this season if he gets games in his preferred position, up front.

Only thing I have against Marley upfront is he isn't a natural finisher.

In terms of physical attributes and all round play though he probably our best.

Not seen pre-season but won't the black French kid be a certainty in midfield - especially against a strong team like Derby ?

Yes we promised him unlimited growlers and luckily he thought that this was some sort of sex thing so he turned down Manure for us.

I like Marley as a forward but do you genuinely think he's capable of scoring enough goals in that role. Think he only scored 4/5 league goals last season ( though he played in different roles tbf)

Seriously Bree is Better Defensively not so sure about that as he always Jockeys the Winger until he gets in the Box never seem to see him put a Strong Tackle in !

After going to Ipswich last week I witnessed Yiadom make plenty of solid challenges on the Winger he was up against he just needs to work on his positioning not sure either of Bree or Yiadom are the Finished Article but we need to Work with both and give them the Experience as they are both Very Talented !

On my brief viewings of Yiadom( seen him play more for Barnet than us) he is positionally suspect something that I think Hecky has acknowledged and is working on.

But as you say good to have 2 talented players to work with.

Away games playing 1 up front I'd pick Yiadom at home if we are 4-4-2 I'd pick Bree.

Agreed , Nothing wrong with Bree going Forward either.

Would you ever Play them Together maybe Bree behind Yiadom , Is Yiadom good enough Playing Right Midfield having played in Numerous positions last Season at Barnet with your knowledge of seeing him because he Definitely has the Engine and Stamina of Isgrove to do the Pressing up and Down the Pitch in that Position ?

I'm in need of a lot of Convincing with Ryan Kent being ready to Start Games but I know before someone points this out its very early days.

I can see Yiadom and Bree working well together like you say not clear how well Kent can provide protection for a fullback

Keep the same team. Don't start chopping and changing them about, does no good for player confidence early on. It's basic sending a message of 'I dont have faith in you' two games in. Folk clamouring for Cissi yet most haven't seen him play.

It's almost as if last season never happened.

No need to make too much changes, but i agree that we would be better with Bree at right back and Yids right wing. Yids is quick and can get up and down the line with ease, and Bree is better defensively which we will need today, particularly against Ince.

Don't forget he also scored 3 in the JPT, played alot of the season on the wing where he had the second most assists and was injured for at least 1 month more than that even. Also his finishes against Swindon and Bury were very good

There's a difference between being a scorer of good goals and a good goalscorer though isn't there? I like him as a striker in a 2 he's certainly strong enough to play up front on his own but I think he would struggle if we relied on him for goals.
