    Got to say, one of the best performances I've seen in a red shirt for god knows how long. Crossing, passing, shooting, interceptions, tackling... All round superb performance and thats from me. Must have been alreyt.

    There was a lad on here the other day who thought Scowen gave a 9/10 centre mid performance on Tuesday night.

    I'd wonder what he'd give Conor today?!

    He's now the complete midfielder. Can hit long or short passes, good at shooting, superb at set pieces, good tackler & has the engine to play box to box as well as been a leader

    CH has gone from caterpillar to butterfly. Roberts likewise. There must be a reason for this. And if it's down to coaching then we have a special formula down the Well.

    Ive been praising him ever since he signed for us because of the amount of goals and assists he gets but now his game is on another level. Best player on the pitch today by a mile.

    Like others have said, I'm slightly worried he won't be here come September. Hopefully he knows staying where he is will be beneficial to his game.

    He is definitely worth 5 million if we have to let him go this season before his contract expires because he can not only keep us up but finish top half without him who knows.

    Hourihane would be best off seeing out the season with us and cashing in as a free at the end of the season. If he did I'd not begrudge him that. If he continues like that then he'll keep us up and break into the Eire team. Outstanding.

    If Wednesday have turned down £7m for Forestieri then £5m should be laughed at for Hourihane.

    Totally disagree. We looked a threat at every corner. How anyone could find anything to criticise him for today is beyond comprehension. The best midfield performance I've seen from a Barnsley player for many many years.

    Agreed. Hammill and hourihane offer such a threat from all set plays. If conor keeps this up think there will be prem teams looking at him by the end of season. Simply superb today.
