Can't help thinking that it's 2 teams that bought their way up, and might be on the fall. Blackburn in particular.

I live in Chorley now, pretty much halfway between Wigan and Blackburn, I think most round here would agree that they're both teams who are traditionally no bigger than us but both bought some success

Shocking considering it's a derby and first home / away game for both teams of the season.

Them crazy Venky guys thinking getting a manager who failed at multiple other clubs in the region would get the fans on side. Coyle was on an hiding to nothing before they had even played a game and with every defeat pressure is going to mount already after a four and a three conceeded to start the league season.

I was about to post the same about the attendance, very poor for a local derby in August. Blackburn are definitely on their way down, and with the Venky clowns still in charge who knows how far they might fall? As for Wigan, small club or not they've got some good players and I'm sure they'll finish well away from trouble this season.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Blackburn go down with a record low of points.

They've sold all their best players in an attempt to balance the books.

Brought in average manager after average manager.

They've got owners who really have little interest in the club.

They've already had 2 good hidings from a team who have just come down, and one who's just come up.

It doesn't look good for them.

    Nevermind :)
