    Difficult to believe he's only really had half a season playing in the football league. It was such a dominant performance yesterday. He's still learning, still improving, he'll no doubt have a few dodgy moments this season, but yesterday afternoon he was bringing to mind players of the calibre of McCarthy and De Zeeuw and looking every bit as good. I can't think of higher praise than that.

    Really was a top quality performance. Almost any other day he would have been comfortably our MotM. But for me Hourihane just shaded it. If he can repeat that consistently he will soon be attracting attention from other clubs

    I don't think its to take anything away from him to say Mawson is better. He is still incredible and was outstanding yesterday but has scope to be even better long term. Both have come on leaps and bounds.
