    .
Alfie Mawson is a massive player for us and we should be telling clubs this Lad is not for Sale for less than 8 Million and 25 % Sell on as he will play for England in my Opinion got everything in is Locker 2 Footed , Strong , Greaf on the Ball , Reads the Game Superbly maybe the only thing he's not got is the Pace of Roberts but what a Player lets not beat around the bush it's that Amount of money or we are not Interested !

I don't really like the Peterborough Chairman personally but he would get 10 Milliom for him , We hold all the trump cards here we don't need to Sell and the Example of the Fee City have paid for John Stones a Ball Playing Centre Half with only Speed as a Better Attribute than Mawson , I mean come on this lad out Scores Stones by 6 Goals a Season as well and he's of a very similar age come on Mr Cryne please take this stance as I know you read this Forum and you know the.Importance of keeping this lad because there is one I need to point out he's the most under rated player by our fans for such a Talented boy if he's was from Barnsley and came from our own Academy we would be holding him in a far higher regard in regards player Popularity with the Fans or if he was from Penistone like Robbo !

As for Connor Hourihane he's as Important with is Qualities on and off the Ball now plus the Leadership and Organisational Skills he's now added what a player looked even better as we've stepped up a level very difficult to replace if someone did offer 5 Million for him because me Personally I would let him choose is Club in the Summer and lose any Potential Transfer Fee less than 5 Million for him to play out the rest of his current Contract with us a Top player and Top Man he's surely worth the risk in terms of losing the Potential Transfer Fee and retaining and enjoying our Championship Status this Season.

    He might read it

if your English was a bit easier to understand, a bit of punctuation would help there.

    Can't fault your arguments though.

    Too much capitalisation

Not convinced he'll play for England but will be a very good championship, if not premier league, player.

If the lad wants to leave and Bristol or QPR are offering him £12 -£15k a week there is little the club can do to stop him going. Also the club will not want to break-up the current wage structure, by giving him a new contract, as it will be very disruptive, divide the dressing room and give 'Hecky' a major headache.

Times like these are the downside of our recruitment policy. Were buying good young players and developing them and they are giving us good enough service to get noticed by clubs with more money, but for us to compete its simply got to happen as long as were getting the correct fee for the player. I say its a downside but it proves our policy is working, just look at the other top players in our squad who we bought for nowt that are worth millions.
The only thing I would say now is we probably need to spend a bit more and get a more ready 'championship' player to come striaght in to replace. They will cost more but the investment idea is still the same as although we pay more, we should be able to sell for more and at the same time keep us in the division and developing. Good times at oakwell at the moment and its important we realise what we have because its not been as good as this for a long time.

Hourihane will play this season and see where he can take us. If it's to a level he wants to be then he may just stay. Mawson will stay and is worth more in income (in this league to one below) than what we might get for him. Plus he is happy.

    Not an English class

but in my experience (I'm 60), if you want any sort of constructive response from somebody like Mr Cryne, who is a professional and successful businessman, you need to address them with a decent standard of easily readable English.

For some reason I don't think a bloke worth £30m from running an incredibly successful software business is going to listen to someone on a forum who can't use capital letters properly.

I've seen more mistakes from Mawson in 3 games than I think I saw from Stones in 5 months.

Ludicrous to say the only asset Stones has over Mawson is pace. He's a much better player & was back then.

Of course they appear to do. But ultimately only if the club who holds his contract agrees. As far as I recall Everton didn't sell Stones to Chelsea despite the fact he'd put in a transfer request. I totally understand the club using the 'unhappy player' excuse when it comes to selling (as we've done once or twice) but, ultimately, it's always down to money.

I was always taught that sentences also should start with a captial letter.

I suppose that was why we played him in his natural position for one half of football I think after injury to one of our first choice ones at the New Den when Tudgay scored a last minute winner so to say what your trying to say is ludicrous.

Agree , I might have got my point across a little wrong to compare Mawson to Stones as at a similar age Mawson will attract less than a fifth of the transfer fee/value of what Stones as just moved to City for which is my point if he was at a bigger club they would be asking for a lot more than we will but the attributes of Alfie are top notch you must agree with that ?
