Anyone who doesn't clean up after their dog is an anti social idiot. I live near a children's play area and there are some who still think it's acceptable to leave dog crap where it was dropped.
Just spent 30 minutes clearing up someone else's **** rather than spend half a hour with my son before he goes to bed. All because some inconsiderate lovely person cannot be bothered to clear up after they let their dog crap the entire length of my drive. And it is not as this isn't the first time.
Speaking as a dog owner, I can't figure out why some can't be bothered to take a few plastic bags with them when out walking. It's the owners responsibility and takes a matter of seconds to clear up. The bags can then be disposed of in an appropriate bin, or if it's not possible, take the bags home with you. To me, it's part and parcel of being a responsible dog owner.
We do not own a dog but I have grown up with them and look after a few for friends and family. I wouldn't dream of not cleaning up after them. We live on a pretty busy street and it looks like quite a few have already stood in it before I cleared it up.
I was under the impression now that you could be fined on the spot if dog walking and you didn`t have any poop bags with you. Maybe it`s a local council law where I live. I never leave the house without some in my pocket when out with the dogs. (3x labradors)
You're spot on Kev and the bags cost about a quid for fifty so there is absolutely no excuse whatsoever.
It's the same here but the problem is enforcing it. Ultimately it shouldn't need enforcing, as a responsible dog owner you should clean up after your dog regardless, it's just the right thing to do. Sadly, as always, the minority let the majority down.
Part and parcel eh - very funny. Is that known as a foh poo? Nevertheless spot on. Don't forget to double bag it if putting it in your own grey bin.
Oh, how I wish I could claim that was deliberate, but I can't! That's very true an a pertinent point about the double bag aspect.
I was out at the woods today walking my son's dog. Poo bags in my pocket. Had to watch where I stepped tho. FFS path was covered in horse ****. Those horse owners seem to be above clearing up after their nags had dropped their lot. One rule for one and another rule for them?
Where's Jay when you need him, I believe he's got a decent story about dog crap and the local council enforcement officers!
But it's fine to kick the cat out and let it **** where it wants. There is never less than four lots of cat **** down the side of my house at any one time.
It's disgusting and people should be fined and made to clean it up. Same should go for those disgusting cats that piss and crap everywhere and stink the whole area out! Oh and those seagulls, who's responsible for them? Over here in Norway we've got Elks, now they do make a mess of your drive :-(
