Few blisters this morning, but a great experience. Some new friends and some i can't shake off! Great Cause. I'm sure somebody is working out the next walk. Fired thanks for the back up and food and water
Seconded, cheers Fi, and thanks for rekindling my love affair with Mars bars. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
I would take a bow, but can I wait until about Wednesday please? Far too stiff to attempt a bow today.
My pleasure, just don't hold me responsible for your love affair with bacon sandwiches, or burgers. ;-)
Boots. And I think the fact I didn't have a single blister whilst all around me were crying about the pain, sticking plasters and such on their poor little feet, suggests my boots were indeed 'made for walking'. To be fair, I was asked the same on the last walk, about the same boots. They look really hard etc, but they're remarkably comfortable. I feel you're on a downer wearing trainers. The chance of rubbing increases massively, especially in damp conditions. I've been and walked around Bolton Abbey today with the family, another six miles or so. Same boots.
Fair do's pal, I'd get a taxi to the fridge if I could, not one for walking so I know fook all about what would be comfortable, just noticed everyone else was in Asics.
Out of interest Ian, what did your watch / app show the final distance to be? Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
A few basic vids, not Whitey quality, just short n sweet with a few milestones. Camera packed up at the end, so none of stadium or team photo, although Prince of Risborough did us proud there. https://flic.kr/s/aHskF78qFL Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
Next time owt like this goes off can we cycle there? Not a walker but would cycle anywhere within about 50 mile.
