its on the official site now about Mawson to Swansea, for that old chestnut " an undisclosed fee" which in BFC speak means a pittance.

But what happened to the statement saying we would not let anyone go unless a suitable replacement was in place.

    Not the happiest right now

If the £5 million is correct, that's a good bit of business. I genuinely expect us to get a decent replacement for £500k to £750k, and still have plenty in the bank for book balancing / further strengthening.

    The plan was.

Buy cheap and young. Develop and sell high.

    It's what we've done.

    Who are we to argue

At least we seem to have got a decent fee. Which we can reinvest and buy again.

I read that we spent just £40,000 on him so a profit of 125x what we paid. Not bad

    no I do not

but had it been the case then why has it not also been announced. I am happy enough with the deal if the report from SKY is true, as that shows a great bit of dealing. But I am a bit worried that we have removed a key part of our defence with no replacement. So who will fill the gap tomorrow then ???

If it's £5 million then that's a brilliant bit of business plus you can't stand in the lads way if a Premiership club comes calling

    well that's re-assuring Gally

but I just wish we had not put the cart before the horse as it were. I also certainly hope its not a loan unless its a very good loanee with a good deal of XP and skills.

Given that someone is lined up before a bid is accepted would say to me we haven't?

Would expect a loanee though at this point

The message to the fans is 'no ambition'. If we are to become a yo yo club, I doubt we will attract the gates for which we hope.

    Re: well that's re-assuring Gally

Let's say for example we announce a loan. He can play as it's up to 12 on the day isn't it. Sort out permanent after.

If we announce a permanent now it's supposed to be 5pm before the day of the match.

    Unless that's changed.

Otherwise we all get behind Angus or whoever is in his place.
