Still think the club need to invest and bring in players. I would go with the spine been loans so we can get the best possible quality in. Minimum for me would be a Striker, I would like the club to sign Solanke from Chelsea. It doesn't look like Fletcher will become available so from what I see he's a good but similar player. Central midfield, Think we might need 2 in tis position. A DM type and Morsey. Centre back, Think people know what my views are here. Reece Burke. Left back, Looks like the club are looking at the Cole Kpekawa. Can play full back and centre back. Ideals Another centre back. Winger Attacking midfielder I've not got really idea's for the ideals. The early names I put on here seem to be so good they are in the clubs 18. Onomah, Winks ,Carter-Vickers Anyway, what do you think the clubs should be looking to do. Remember once it's closed it's closed until January.
What's this solanke like? Not seen him play. Has he impressed you in the games you've seen him play professionally?
Looks like Chelsea are looking to sign Solanke on a new deal before he heads out on loan. Seems they want to get him out too. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...-with-dominic-solanke-as-youngster-risks-sta/
Spines of teams tend not to be loan players. hence the term. Loans are more the truss on the outside. Our 'spine' is currently.. Davies Roberts Scowen Hourihane Hammill Winnal Watkins
WTF, I've never seen a fourm so bad for just posting **** anywhere. why are people so unable to keep things to topics. It's not like it's not clear what it's about from title or content.
I agree that we need another LB, CB, CM and a Winger but I don't know why you say we need an attacking mid when we don't play one in our natural 4-4-2 and we have Moncur who specialises in that role anyway
That's good, but what's he like. I've never watched him play. Not ruling him out but wondering what his main attributes are from watching him play. Is he better than Winnall, Bradshaw, Watkins and Payne from the games you've watched him play?
Let Hecky do the shopping he`s the gaffer, suggest you contact Frickley they could do with your advice, they`re actually bottom of their league we`re third top.
Don't usually agree with you but I don't think you're far away with this. Burke, Morsey and Ariyibi would be excellent signings. Solanke would be a real coup and might be possible now we have started so well. Don't know the lad from QPR but a 'composite' young CB/LB seems the more likely than another CB. I wouldn't rule out Isgrove - not in the Southampton squad again today (Morsey wasn't in Wigan's squad either). Can't see us pulling off more than 5 signings in 4 days. That would give a strong enough squad to withstand the rigours of the next 4 months at least.
Reece Burke season loan Cole Kpekawa Sam Morsy Isgrove or Ariyibi Kevin Long Sam Johnstone season loan CM on Loan? 2 CB's, a CDM, a CM, a winger & a backup keeper. I'd say loan out Cowgill, Townsend, Temps & Callum Evans too.
from what I've seen and heard he's got the lot. Quick strong, calm, 6ft plus, Also been away from Home last season in Holland. Scored a few in their top Division for vitesse arnhem. scored 7 in 25. England u21 International. Solanke primarily plays as a striker, however can also operate as either an attacking midfielder or a winger. Former Chelsea striker Tore Andre Flo has said that Solanke "works really hard", has "got very good physique" and "a great touch on the ball". He went on to say: "He's quick but often what impresses me the most is when he looks like he’s lost the ball, he somehow manages to get out with the ball, no matter how tight the situation is or how difficult it looks"
haha. Copied from Wikipedia. Thought it would help. If this guy was at Tottenham he'd be in the first team already. From what i've seen like I say above hes a class act. Not sure if hes on the clubs list but I hope so. Just think we miss a good Fletcher replacement.
Nobody will be coming in to be the spine. It's already set, say for a centre half. Most coming in will be squad players, who have to earn a place in the 3rd place championship team.
Agree would love to add another striker with a different dimension. Love Winnall and think Bradshaw will settle in well. Watkins offers the foil to either of those, but agree we need something else - either off the bench, or like Fletcher forcing his way into starting position. Shame Paynes injured but feel that will just mean we bite the bullet and get that extra striker in. Only thing I don't like - asking for £50k a week without a first team game? And not negotiating. Bad advice or complete **** I don't know.
