I enjoyed the team but I have a hope that the team will strive to improve and be the best possible. I don't care how long, or how much some fans like a certain player if a better plays avadible then the club's got to bring him in. Look at Man City. Hart. 10 years almost, 350 games almost. Found someone better. Seeya Charles. Maybe if you learn to keep the ball we might look again next year
Hemsworth someone asked for your opinion on some stats by Hourihane, why are you choosing to ignore them?
Hemsworth someone asked for your opinion on some stats by Hourihane, why are you choosing to ignore them? As for Joe Hart, just because he doesn't do certain stuff Bravo does doesn't mean Bravo is the better keeper - For all you know Hart has never been asked to play a specific way.
I was hoping that a thread could be productive and on track. I always enjoy these types of threads on other fourms.
Unlike the OP I have actually seen Solanke play for Vitesse. He scored in the game I saw and played well. Would be good as an understudy/different option off the bench. No better or worse than that.
It is on track. Of course it's on track to discuss the performances of the players you say need removing from the starting 11. How much more on track can you possibly get?
Well, you derailed your own thread, 2 lines in. When you suggested the spine of our first team be replaced by loan players. That's disastrously ridiculous, even by your standards. Stick to the video game, whatever it's called... And we'll stick to what we know - supporting the 3rd best team in the league.
How did you feel when Roberts scored today? You must have really hated it. When everyone around was celebrating were you sat down, head in hands. I bet you can't wait for him to make a mistake just so you can come on here acting the ****. You're weird.
Just watching Man U. How badly could they do with a Conor? Rooney's dead balls are.. well, dead in comparison.
Need a centre back for sure Then if we sign the lad from QPR & he's decent he'd be perfect as back up for centre back & our two injury prone left backs. Then 2 central midfielders. And then I'd sign a striker over a midfielder as although some are suggesting a winger we have Hammill, Kent & Lee as well as Williams (who will hopefully be back soon) & then we've got Watkins, Yiadom & White who could all do a job there if needed. I don't want to see us bring in any more players than that. There's a fantastic team spirit & the players have a great understanding of each other's games. Ability is only part of football & this is where people (including managers sometimes) often go wrong. The opening poster talks about how in February Fletcher was better than Winnall which is completely untrue. At that point Fletcher looked raw, couldn't play for 90 minutes & needed games to improve & get that familiarity with his team mates which he got & then by the end of the season he was better than Winnall. That's why you can't sign 5 players in the last week of the window throw them all in the first team & expect to improve the team. It doesn't work like that. You can only get away with a couple at a time & still be successful
I know what you're getting at Phil ...constant improvement , but better players individually aren't always the best players for the team , you can't buy morale or team spirit , which was largely responsible for our success last season.
At lease 2 perm signings (don't ask me who but, perm signings would add stability) A few smart loan moves. We've got good relations with Man U, city,Everton & Liverpool. Surely there's at least 4/5 good loaners in there
Still waiting Hemsie. Please answer the above, maturely, honestly and without making a dick of yourself. Thanks. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
I got told yesterday we have made 6 bids on 6 different players, not expecting to get them all tho and ive no idea who they are...nor did my source. Hope this helps...
