So it isn't actually be sure you hate Roberts, winnall and hourihane (now that he's popular) it's simply because they are the weakest players on the pitch so they're the positions that we need to replace in in order to become better.
Exactly. You don't replace your best players (with better ones) to improve your side, you replace your weakest first.
Happy with the spine of the team as it is now , obviously we need a centre back and then a few more to add depth to the squad
I haven't a clue and if I had, I obviously couldn't say. Sorry. Alfie Mawson to Swansea was completely out of the blue, wasn't it? Good. We're doing our jobs well.
Sorry YT - didn't mean to put you on the spot. Until last night didn't understand your new role - well deserved and good luck btw
But Man City have seemingly endless reserves of cash to replace Hart with someone from Barcelona. In our world, we don't; there is no way we could possibly get better than Hourihane in this division because those better than him won't want to join us and we can't afford them if they did. We can sign players who may become better than Hourihane by developing and nurturing them like we have done with him and a raft of others, but that won't help us in the here and now. God knows what you're on about with Root. We're seeing one of the quickest developing teams in BFC history so I think they know what they're doing in this respect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
"Your best players are only that because you don't have better" Love it. Please will you answer my questions? Or shall I post them in a new thread, just so we can agree we are 'on topic'? Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
I'm not sure what you want me to say. He's clearly not the best player in the league. I put a list of players better from ONE CLUB. Looks like Hendricks on the move form Derby to Premier league club. And this they'll not spend on him because hes in his last year of contracts nonsence and this shows by another ROI international moving this weekend
Ex professional footballer (Premiership) now uefa A licence holder's view of Saturday's game : Once Barnsley stepped up the pace Rotherham couldn't live with them. Hourihane was central to that and looks like he's played at this level all his career, he'll just get better and better. Why some on here feel that there's a constant need to prove your knowledge and insight by running down the team and individuals I don't know. It's like the club and individual players have stated they don't want to improve. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You've always been an advocate of statistics. Statistically, he is the best at his job in the EFL. 2) people's reaction / comments to Roberts performance. Do you agree with the overwhelming positivity around this man ? 3) are you pleased with the 4-0 win ? I'd like your match observations. BTW mate, this isn't bullying. I am genuinely interested in your opinions. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
Many past managers have used the invertebrate system so there must be summat in it. Sure it wont be long before we see it again.
Roberts played well yesterday Andy Mac but I'm not sure massive praise was needed. We played Rotherham and in the first half we weren't good enough. They had one player that looked good. Brown on loan from Chelsea. People get too up and down imo. In a way their was as much good yestersay than in the opener if you understand what i mean. one Barnsley won and one Barnsley lost. I love to read what people think and am i happy to share.
I think you give harsh unjustified critism when we win and even worse when we lose. It seems to me ( and I very rarely reply to your posts.that anyone in a Barnsley shirt is not worthy of praise nor the teams performance, There's always a but in your posts IMO. We all want improvement but ffs give some credit when its due instead of slagging the players off and comparing to other teams players. I'm sure Hecky knows where he needs to improve, replace etc. Chill art instead of trying to score points off other posters ffs.
After years of mediocrity and false dawns I have found it so refreshing that we can come on here and praise / love / worship players as opposed to picking holes. It's not only Robbo, but there is a whole raft of players who are making me feel good in a way I have not known since Hunters days. I'm quite happy to sing their praises from the rooftops, even more so on the BBS cos it's so bloody different. Give it a try pal, you make some great points but just be seen to love them once in a while. No need to blow smoke up their a55e5, but credit where it's due, eh? Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
Why am I not in the least bit surprised that Rotherhsms only decent player was the one on loan from Chelsea
Brown did look a threat due to his pace & strength but in reality he created absolutely nothing. In fact pretty much the only decent thing he did was draw a free kick from Hourihane about 30 yards out. Number 11 was more of a threat.
Okay. Just a little pointer. If you heard me speak in person around november/ december last yar you would have heard something a little bit different. I thought we could still get promoted, that those players were good enough....... I like to think i'm quite a posative person but I've got a hope that things will always improve.
Absolute rubbish. Your 'list' will be full of players who were ***** in the premier league but because they've played in the premier league you see them as world beaters. I still don't understand why you're so unsupportive of our own players.
