Loftus Road QPR have agreed a fee with Barnsley for Cole Kpekawa. The defender, 20, has been given the green light to travel north to discuss personal terms ahead of a proposed £450,000 move to Oakwell. Barnsley made an offer for him last week and Rangers subsequently indicated to Barnsley that they would be willing to sell. The 20-year-old, a product of Rangers’ youth system, is not currently in manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s first-team plans and it has been decided that he can go. Kpekawa has made nine senior appearances for QPR, the most recent coming in this month’s EFL Cup game against Swindon. He has also had spells on loan at Portsmouth, Colchester and Leyton Orient
