If it hadn't have been for Grant Ward or Penalties we would have conceded 2 goals in 5 league games, we've yet to concede a goal from open play at Home and with out conceding 4 at ipswich we would have had the best goal difference in the league, this team can defend when it needs just needs a month or two together

 

We seem to hev a teeam wi a never say die attitude and notching a few goals yet conceding a bit more than average, who knows.

Either way i'd prefer it if we didn't start comparing it to past teams to the current lovely bunch, this is a new experience, with a new team in a vastly different league to what it was 16/17 years ago

There really isn't a precedent to how we're doing things now. Even the 96-97 side was a motley bunch. brilliant, but motley.

I maybe making excuses (some of them were actual facts) but it's not like our defence is a shambles and that were conceding every game we've kept 2 clean sheets in the 1st 5 league games only Brighton and Brentford have kept more
