not altogether either. Come to Lanzarote a day later and on my first day, I've had 'Winnall's on fire shouted' by four having a meal followed by a waitress saying she's from Darfield and flew home for Wembley. Get everywhere (Obviously on some of these occasions, I was wearing a Barnsley shirt)
It's amazing where we bump into people. When I came back from Malta, there was a bloke on the flight, I met a bloke in Edinburgh (from Lincolnshire) who I had a natter with about the Derby match. #YouReds .
Quite a few 'you Reds' chants in Tenerife this summer - los cristianos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Currently in las Américas in tenerife. Walked into a bar last night with the DJ giving it 'one here frum tarn' and in a supermarket this other kid I overheard saying he wish he'd brought his now. We get everywhere
On Princess Street in Edinburgh fortnight ago and was greeted with a You Reds chant from a cafe. Had a chat and sold four tickets for the show I was on. But not seen any in the Highlands this week!
only this morning I parked next to a bloke in Tesco's car park....... I was gobsmacked... we went to different schools together
We had a day in Benidorm (Aqualandia) last week. Didn't have our Reds shirts on though. I also know at least 2 people off here who are out there now.
Get yourself up to Oia at the top of island to watch the sunset Kev, truly stunning. Have a good day tomorrow.
In Ayia Napa - not seen a Tykes shirt (note still refusing to call them reds) but then again very few if any football shirts And I've never worn a replica shirt - wouldn't be seen dead in one - mainly because I'm older than 10 years old - although I do think they suit women - but narrr, men look hideous in them
My mum & dad were in Barbados for the play off final and watched it in a bar at 10.00am, low and behold the couple next to them at the bar were from Barnsley so they ended up sharing a table along with a millwall couple who turned up a little later I was in Paris for the euros this summer and was in an Irish bar when i walked outside there was a bloke with an Irish flag with a Barnsley badge on it, had a chat with him turns out its the bloke who owns the Irish pub in tarn. Small world.....
