Trident isn't the only nuclear deterrent we can have and we can't use it without the US giving approval. So it's really a non starter if we can't use it. When Scotland become Independent they will close Holy Lock and we don't have any other deep water port to house the fleet. The only near nuclear war we have had was caused by the USA who where threatening the USSR with missiles they based in Turkey. The Yanks didn't like it when the USSR stationed missiles in Cuba. The Russian have never threatened anyone with atomic weapons. Unilateral disarmament is not the policy of the Labour Party so Mr.Corbyn couldn't abolish them. One thing he would do is to get all the nuclear powers around the table to reduce and then get rid of these weapons.
It's easy you just put the policies to the public as Giles Brandreth did in a Tory strong hold without telling them which party they were from. They all agreed with the 10 policies which Corbyn is putting forward. They were all Tory voters. It's just a case of getting out on the streets and talking to people like Momentum are doing and getting the message across.
