Yep and unfortunately that won't happen now. He seems not interested at all in succeeding his dad after that incident on the train on the way back from Crawley. Then again, if he isn't interested after that, maybe he was the wrong man anyways as he's gonna get some stick at some time or another being a chairman of a football club that will definitely have some bad times alongside the good.
Oh ye of little faith. I have despaired at the negativity and criticism the Cryne family have had to endure over the past few years on this most open of forums. People on this forum who have knee jerked into criticism of the Cryne era with no good reason have really hacked me off. And now those very same people (and you must know who you are) are bemoaning the fact that PC could leave the club. I would love for his son to take over. If he doesn't it shows that the frickin bully boys have won. When will people ever realise that in this day and age, some of the **** that's posted on here will have an effect on people's lives. These are the best of times and shame on those of you who didn't want to show the patience in PC's plan. Fickle ****ers. Come. On. You. Reds.
I think I'm right in saying Peter Ridsdale was never the owner of the club , I don't think he invested any money in the club . I'm almost certain he was fetched in as Chairman to run things through a connection with Don Rowing , and was paid by the club to do that job.
Why not have both ??? An organisation / individual with money to be competitive in the Championship coupled with individuals on the board such as Cryne and Watkins that understands the club the town and the fans To create a board of directors where we can have money available and still keep Mawson and invest in players like Kent
You can thank the absolute cnuts on that train giving Grief to Paddy's son (returning from Crawley I think ) for him calling it a day. Think he would have continued for a while and kept it in family if it hadn't been for these Ass oles.
West Stand Bogs. The section of the interview was one of the most cringeworthy things I've ever head. The interviewer thought he was onto something and wouldn't let it drop despite Patrick telling him numerous times what he believed wasnt the case. It all became rather embarrassing and is even more so given the clubs success since the sacking of Wilson and that interview.
I wasn't there when this incident happened. Not sure how many of the people from this thread were either. I'd be very surprised if a bit of grief on a train from some chavs was the single reason tbh. If it genuinely is though, then he probably isn't the right man for the job anyway. As far as I understand, he is still very much involved in board discussions.
Aye, it was me And if asking tough questions of our clubs owner when we've just sacked another manager and were losing away at Crawley 5-1 after 4 years of **** on the pitch was 'sticking it to him' then I'd gladly do it again. I'm delighted we've turned a corner. Genuinely. But at the time some questions needed both asking & answering because no other supporters group were doing it. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Singular incident.? I've read loads of threads on this board unjustly criticising the Crynes, some of these threads were harshly critical when the Crynes were probably at their most vulnerable with. Paddy's illness and the investigation of his buisness dealings. Heard also they had a lot worse from other social media and other sources.not sure if that is true but wouldn't be surprised.
