That's why I thought I'd give it a few months trial afore pulling the plug on sky completely

Exactly, nowt worse than channels freezing or breaking up especially on things like the footy.. Tried em all but still end up subscribing for the ease.

Even the sub sites aren't totally reliable for TV channels. I've got Sky for everyday TV use and an OTT.TV sub for occasional sports. These days I mostly use my box for films and boxsets, which are both far better than anything sky offers

Yeah I've heard the Sly boxes are really reliable and in HD. Don't they also come with the TV guide/menu too? I've got an android box which is brilliant for TV shows & movies but not that great for sports.

Just cancelled my OTT sub, downtime was driving me up the wall. Found nearly all the same channels hidden away in zem.TV all for free

Pay a bit extra to get tv guide etc / record and play back . Automatic updates on new sly boxes too now

I recently started to subscribe to something called Sports Mania which someone on this BBS recommended. I have tried it out for a month, which cost me £12, but will subscribe for 6 months next time when this month runs out (£26). The sport steams have been brilliant in all honesty, much better than I expected.

Yep it's gone downhill for me too, since they upgraded servers. This is why I never go longer than a month
