Turns out he was the worst.

The way he talked about Mawson and Hourihane was poisonous. Willingly discussing unsettling our own players.

Tommy was always bright and full of encouragement during training sessions. But I never understood this 'signing of the summer thing'. Of the first team management staff he's easily the most replaceable.

Hecky was the signing of the summer. Whilst we might be able to find another quality head coach. We will never find one who's one of our own. Who loves the club like we do. He's the best front man we could ever wish for.

Nathan Winder is one of the best in the game. Meticulous in his work and well liked in the dressing room.

Sedgy knows the club inside out. Again part of a group who are the best sports science team in the football league.

Losing Tommy Wright is a betrayal of trust and unwanted publicity. But I don't think it will have much effect on performances or what Hecky can get out of this group. It was good for continuity that he stayed, but those claiming he was signing of the summer were overhyping his role.

I kept saying at the time he is not the signing of the summer.

It's not hindsight. He was replaceable in the summer and he's replaceable now.

In a coaching capacity maybe, but it runs deeper than that, it's about relationships and the coach is usually closer to the players than the manager. TW is usually one barking instructions to players, they listen to him. I might be wrong but didn't see him doing that much on Tuesday evening.

Hecky is the coach. Tommys his assistant.

    We don't have a manager.

    It does but ill explain.

You implied that you stated back when we signed him that you didn't see him as being a signing we should see as a big signing and you thought we should have parted company. You are saying this based on the recent allegations of bribery. So I asked the question if you knew back then when you made your statement given us your telling us now you knew it wasn't right.

You're making things up. Where at any point have I said we should have parted company with him in the summer?

You cant just make things up.

All I said was he wasn't the signing of the summer. I go on to say he's one of the most replaceable of our first team staff.

Why are you making things up?

Im not making things up. Please read what I said. I apologies if you have misunderstood me. I said Implied. I based my question on your words as follows

"I kept saying at the time he is not the signing of the summer. It's not hindsight. He was replaceable in the summer and he's replaceable now."

" But I never understood this 'signing of the summer thing'. Of the first team management staff he's easily the most replaceable."

So my point and in fact question was did you know something to feel it was not a great signing at the time or are you just saying in hindsight he wasn't a good signing? Your initial post seems to be that you stated at the time he wasn't a great signing and now your right. All I@m asking is why did you think that then and keen to make the point at this time?

Because I'm keen to point out he's very replaceable therefore this won't undo the fantastic work by the club in terms of performances.

Correct. No-one is irreplaceable. we need to act quickly and move on.

Just to state my point, I thought he was a great signing back then, hence why I'm gutted and feel embarrassed alongside my club and feel let down right now.

I think you are right here. Ano alot of people were saying signing of the year but let's be right it's the same t.w who was assistant when we lost 9 on bounce under Lee Jay. He is the easiest to replace.
