    My leeds supporting work mate was impressed by him Saturday said he was our best player. was shocked when I told him we signed him from non league for 100k.

    This is what some people forget. The majority of the team is bargain basement. 3 of our backline have come from non league and playing against big money signings and players on big wages.

    Clubs done wonders really.

    Listened to radio Sheffield I'm sure they highlighted robbo for the 2nd goal.... they highlighted s** w***** for the 1st failing to mark his man on the corner for the 1st

    Unbelievable. Do you have nothing positive to say? Maybe he could be blamed for their 2nd, but equally so could Roberts for pushing too high. Angus barely put a foot wrong apart from that and the fact that Leeds fans are singling him out for praise says it all

    Precisely. He's done phenomenally well in my opinion; better than I expected. He also looked much more composed with the ball at his feet on Saturday which was a plus. He had £3 million striker Chris Wood in his back pocket

    A bloke I work with singled him out too.

    Also was a bit surprised to find out that he'd come from Torquay.

    He also commented on Robbo as well.

    I found that Huddersfield fans also singled out Robbo too.

    Good signs.

    I'd apportion blame for the 2nd to Yiadom as Roberts had just won the 1st header and 2nd ball over top Hernandez wasn't tracked. Also looked 2 yards offside

    Mcdonald has done brilliantly so far but after watching the highlights today I think he'll be the first to admit that he should have covered Roberts for their second goal .

    Personally some of the blame has to lie with MacDonald I feel because he appears to be playing their lad on. He had the opportunity to step up but just didn't react quick enough.

    He's still learning (as all our back 4 are to be fair) so it's expected from time to time. We need to try and curb the mistakes soon or else we'll slip into a similar rut as last season.

    But was alert every time leeds put the ball in behind our left full back. Read the game well and snuffed out that threat.

    The post was about negativity, so I countered with a point about positivity and that fact that Donny very rarely shows any, it's also quite noticeable to me you didn't take him to task about personal comments about me last week, so please let him fight his own battles if your not going to stand up for any particular reason, I'm not abusing him or swearing at him or anything untoward so in that scheme of things its nothing to do with you is it?     Do you pay 37 quid and travel to a hostile Elland Road to watch someone learn (the u23's is about development). There Centre backs aren't that much older. Charlie Taylor at left back doesn't need the, well he's still learning and young tag. These aren't 18 year old.

    Just checked and Barnsley had the oldest defender on the pitch yesterday from the start

    Charlie Taylor is still learning at leeds, as is Alfie Mawson, Connor hourhine, scowern and most of our squad if I wanted to watch the finished product of players I'd go watch man city or united. The players we have are good enough it's not like last time we were in this divsion making the numbers up.
