Tomorrow at the Lamproom. I'm looking forward to it (going with barnsley66), listening to the our young, intelligent, articulate, successful Head Coach. Hope to see other BBSers there to be entertained by our local boy done good. http://www.barnsleylamproom.com/whats-on/an-evening-with-barnsley-fc-manager-paul-heckingbottom/
I'd love to, but better save my limited battery for Saturday... We are at home on Saturday, aren't we...?
Ah, thanks confirming, flower. Not that I've ever rolled up at Oakwell, only to find we were playing away that day. Well, only twice...
I don't get up to Barnsley until Friday for my first game of the season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hopefully, you'll get to see a performance like the vast majority of the others we've all enjoyed this season.
Brilliant. The best one I've ever been to and there's been loads. We're in good hands with this bloke in charge. Great to see Omen tonight.
And you mate. I know that green hoody anywhere! Missed out on winning the signed shirt by 1 ticket! Was ticket after me. Should have bought 3 strips instead of 2! Hecky is obviously ambitious and made it clear i think that if a chance to better himself again came along he may move on - even though he said hed be happy here mext 20 years (they all say that). Hope that doesnt happen. As i said to you - he wants to make all the decisions... Hed only get that running the club not first team coach. Im sure once hes proved himself more PC may give him more remit to spread his wings a bit? Great night. Glad i managed to make it. He really is very articulate, intelligent and professional and above all a proper nice bloke. Hes a perfect fit for us so i hope hes here for a very long time. Dont think ive ever seen a manager/head coach with nobody a bad word to say about before. Long may it all continue. And if we do have a bad spell in sure PC will stick by him like he did LJ.
We were one of last out, but by the time we left we were told all prizes had been claimed. Unlucky mate, better luck next time
Yes I completely agree mate, great night. Loved his side stories about Bryan Robson and Paul Sturrock
Ah, the infamous green hoody! The evening seemed to pass by in an instant and was extremely interesting. Hecky has high standards and expectations. His comments and views over a number of issues gave an insight into how he views his responsibilities with the club and life in general.
You must have been sat just behind us, as I noticed a 'green hoody' as we were waiting to leave. It was a very insightful evening into the life of Mr Heckingbottom, I wasn't aware of his university studies and just went to prove how much he want to be successful and help and influence the people around him. My wife has had dealing with him in her professional capacity and she said 'what we saw on stage is what he is like in real life'. I believe as long as he is our head coach the club and team are in safe hands.
