I've just bought a flexi ticket. I'm now a proper fan again.

Well, perhaps not quite. I've still not re-subscribed to Barnsley Player.

Really like the flexi scheme, hope it continues into the 2nd half of the season.

Bought mine this week too. And my dad did. And then my mum decided to get one. Not a chance my mum would have gone to another 5 games without one. £300 in the club's bank now for budgeting

After the complaints after Elland Road and the BBC missing our goal there, we have been in discussions with them about solving this issue in future and come to a compromise moving forward.

In future, when we are the 'main' live game on FM and they're likely to keep going round the other grounds, we will be using Matt Bailey's live feed through Barnsley Player HD. I am sure people will now say "why not for every game?" but we do have a contractual agreement with the BBC. We believe this is a good compromise and will guarantee that Reds fans will now hear every second of our games LIVE, as it should be.

Thanks for your patience on this. I hope this convinces you and others to sign back up to our award winning service.

That's a positive move forward and if it works I would certainly re-subscribe. I'll wait until Jam Drop has approved it first though.

I sincerely hope that eventually, once any contractual obligations have expired, that we can learn from this, get rid of Radio Sheffield and get the lads back again. I suspect that the club employee responsible for the mess is now no longer with the club anyway, so maybe there's hope.

Pah! I wouldn't dream of mentioning that on a public forum like this. I've put that on Facebook instead.

Just to clarify, do you mean that they will be using Matt's commentary during the "visits" to other grounds, or will they be using it for the entire game? Either way it's a step forward.

Matt's comms will (if needed) be used instead of BBC Radio Sheffield's. In full.

Don't think it will but you can buy another right before the end of the year or whenever the cut off is.

Any idea how the take up has been mate? I have to say I've been thoroughly impressed by how easy it has been to use to get tickets together for 3 different account holders. And when I've had a query the box office have been brilliant.
