Not saying it should have been taken into consideration but it shows exactly what she was after. Anyone who's done any kind of research on this case could see from the very beginning that the conviction was a load of ********. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The accused being found not guilty doesn't automatically mean that the victim made a false complaint.
Don't think this was ever a case of 'wrongful accusal'. It was a case of consent: the girl stated she could not remember anything so the legal case was whether she was too 'drunk' to have given consent. This was never a case of the 'girl who cried rape'.
But theres CCTV evidence that proves she wasnt anywhere near as drunk as she has made out. From the evidence available and from common sense it screams to me that she's gone back with a footballer, his mates got on the phone and came round. She's woke up alone, felt used and probably with no money to get home and decided to fabricate a story. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For a site that contains contributions from a supposedly mainly left wing/socialist/Labour area - and all the associated causes that go with that some of the comments on this thread and others surrounding the Evans case have defied belief at times. It seems that women are a quite legitimate target and where race, religion etc are now off limits, all 'our' fury can be directed at them. I'm outta here for the weekend.
But there's the documentary evidence of the taxi driver and hotel receptionist who stated she was hammered.
Thats where your way off the mark. Do you think this kind of case helps women who have been genuinely raped or harmed? Absolutely not. More importantly, an innocent bloke has served years in jail, it could happen to any young lad who takes a bird home after a night out. Lives ruined because of silly little girls. There's a massive difference between "taking a girl home after a night out" and "turning up at a travelodge late at night to shag a girl you haven't even met who your mate picked up on a night out whilst your brother films it through the window before you do a runner through the fire escape"
Not like he 'turned up' is it? That was his room. I bet you'd 'turn up' if you'd booked a room at a hotel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I got shot down big time on this board for saying I did the think he did it. I put facts to people and they battered them away. Alot on here just wanted it to be the case because they hate Sheffield United, quite sad really. Well done Ched, no one should have to go through that.
Of course it is. He turned up, shagged her and then left. It's not like he stayed the night and enjoyed a nice buffet breakfast is it?
