    2 different juries have reached 2 different outcomes. I'm not judging him or her, as I've only read extracts from the transcripts and a bit around the case from commentators.

    I'm getting at the misogyny directed at an individual based on hearsay and others own interpretations of the case - some of what's been said lays bare the true nature of those saying it rather than the one it's aimed at.

    The verdict did not make sense and I too made that clear on here.

    Congratulating him however for behaving in the manner he did is not a proportionate response to his acquittal.

    Justice of sorts now seems to have been done.

    There isn't enough proof that he raped her.

    That doesn't make her a liar. What good does "punishing" a potential victim do, other than encourage others to rape because they know they're less likely to face punishment themselves.

    Irrespective of guilt or innocence, if this is true then it brings 3 very dodgy things into it:
    1). Past behaviour has nothing to do with it.
    I though that attitude went out with the 70s. Just because someone did something in the past does not mean that they would do it again in the future. People can learn from their mistakes and try not to repeat them.

    2). The previous partners had financial incentives to support the defence
    How do we know they were not financially influenced by the reward to change their statement in any way.

    3). How did they find out her previous partners without releasing her name, which was under embargo.
    That is itself caused her to have to change it 3-4 times and move house at least once.
