I can't believe we said we couldn't guarantee him games. Any one covering Aidy White is always gonna get at least half a season

Yes most of the goals came down the other side to be fair and Yiadom was just as bad.

I carn't pronounce his name nor spell it but I think this lad will make a better centre half than full back thats just my opinion mind.

And covering James Bree you're going to get the other half plus friendlies.

Between them they must miss going on for 40 games a season

    This thread's ****.

I've seen the same thread over the last two years about Hourihane, Winnall, Davies, Roberts and Watkins.

If the BBS had existed in 1996-97, there'd have been Eaden threads probably.

He doesn't even look that bad. OK he's a bit rough but is he any worse than the majority of left backs we've had in the last 10 or 15 years? **** no. He just needs a little bit of confidence and that's hard to get when we're losing but get a couple of wins and it will come

Yiadom is the softest tackling full back I`ve seen for a while.

I don't think anyone is saying that the full backs don't have potential just that they are struggling to show it currently and particularly in Cole's case have been chucked in the deep end. Hammill relies a lot on White to cover for him defensively and provide runs to create space for him and it's difficult to replace this. The 4-4-2 exposes the full backs if the midfield gets overloaded and they have to be at the top of their game I think it's fair to say both struggled with this yesterday. Cole especially looks like he could do with a rest and Bree looked a better option when he went to right back positionally and defensively IMO of course.

I was never sure why Eaden who is the best full back I've seen play for got stick on the terraces I'm not sure either player who started yesterday is anywhere near that quality as of yet though who knows what the future will be. There was a version of the board at the time can't remember any criticism of Nicky in Radders Rooms.

    Onwards and upwards.
