What has Kent done that is better than Hammill?

Hammill is doing a lot of defensive work for a start.

I think it's more that Yiadom looks bad when he's got Kent in front of him as Kent doesn't help him out at all.

It's time like these you'd like Abbott to still be here to step up. Might play Bree there. Think we all wondered about this situation when Moncur went out. Scowen was always going to miss some games.

Kent's fast and that worries the opposition for 10 minutes before they realise there isn't likely to be much end product. I like him but would be a better impact sub than started. Janko showed more in his brief cameos IMO.

You said last week agnus Mcdonald scares you on the ball well Kent scares me. Yeah he is fast but 9 times out of ten his runs end up with him cutting inside and losing possession leaving us at 6s n 7s. His crosses rarely beat the 1st man he reminds me of jcr fast but no end product..... all opinions and each to their own but I'm far from impressed so far like I said if Janko was fit he would surely be dropped.

If Janko was fit I'm sure it'd be Hammill being dropped. He's awful at present.

What has ryan Kent done to deserve not to be dropped? Neither have been great past few games but at least we know adam has goals and assists in him and he helps out the left back.

He looks dangerous, he goes at players and carries the ball very well. He's direct and creates chances, pretty much everything Hammill doesnt do.

He is fast with the ball. That's about it he creates very few chances I'm struggling to think of any. He has no end product. Not bothered what anyone says but I'm not impressed so far hope he proves me wrong and gets 2 assists and a goal tomorrow but I doubt it.

You take his pace out the side and we have non, other than Armstrong who rarely gets to use it with our constant punting up the field.

Someone was moaning on another thread about how many political debates there were on here.

This thread is the worst right wing versus left wing debate of the lot.

End product hitting the woodwork doesn't count.... how many assists and goals does he have after 12 games? He has played in every game I can recall 1 goal v Rotherham.

Hammill's shot per goal ratio is better and neither have any assists I think Kent has played more minutes too..... Hardly much end product. 1 goal in 12 games and without the ball gives little help to yidom.

Lloyd Isgrove had was it 1 goal 1 assist in about 6 months here yet he's the holy trinity to some.

Kent may lose the ball a bit but thats because he trying things, trying to beat a man, trying to open up an opportunity for himself, I dont get the feeling he'll ever be someone who looks to make chances for others, he's a greedy player who's always looking for a shot. On the other hand though, that little non trick Hammill always does, when he should just play a simple 5 yard ball, only to lose it absolute infuriates me and has done since last season. I was never too fussed about us signing him back up in the summer and so far, I think im looking correct.

Having one shot and one goal in a season would make somebody a perfect player then? Perfect ratio.

In reality both have been off the pace a bit lately because they are playing with different full backs behind them who have totally different playing styles to the ones they started with. White and Bree get down the wing fast and it aids both wingers yiadom and kpekowa (no idea how to spell it) don't do that as much

Lloyd isgrove pressed the opposition and without the ball tracking back and helping the right back out they is no comparison. He goes on these runs and then instead of talking it down the flanks cuts inside and leaves us wide open as yidom looks for overlap Kent never uses him. If Kent was on loan from Burnley would be diffrent. If trying to beat a man then losing it or hitting a **** cross in is okay let's just get kadeem harris back.
