I rarely watch a Sky live game but I thought this might be worth a look. It's just awful to watch. Misplaced passes, no one capable of a decent shot or pass and entertainment level at zero. I might give it ten minutes at the start of the second half, hoping for an improvement. Tomorrow's match will be a hundred times better
Manchester United will be happy at half time. First half away in a big games about killing the home teams momentum and they have done that. JM's the master at this. At heart he's a winner. Looked at the formation and team slection tonight. He's not messing about.
Well they will defiantly be more goals just in the wrong net for us hahha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
United have done a job on Liverpool, totally stifling their attack. Unfortunately neither side looks capable of creating a half decent chance never mind scoring. Pogba by the way... all the potential in the world but he trots about like it's a five a side game with his mates. And whilst it may suit the system, Rashford is a striker, a CENTRE FORWARD with lethal finishing ability. I hate seeing him and other strikers of a similar ilk wasted playing wide trying desperately to work out how to be a winger.
I rarely watch the prem but gave this one a look. Jose parked the bus and ruined the game. Still plucky little minnows United going to a big club and playing for nil nil was quite amusing.
When you think about the eye-watering amount of money slushing around that ground tonight it makes you despair for the game. What a shocking waste of money!
And the build up to the match, hours and hours of coverage, interviews, a channel devoted to Liverpool-United 'content' I'm sure I heard about today. Endless opinions, interviews, pre-match theorising over every possible tactical possibility. Endless hyperbolic musings about Zlatan, Pogba, Klopp v Jose etc etc. I just find it all very tiresome especially when the matches always tend to be defensive, boring, stale and devoid of any tendency to throw caution to the wind. It's the Premier League/Sky Sports hype machine going into over-drive. But hey, the masses always tune in and will do again next week for the Manchester derby in the League Cup. I might even be one of them, which kind of sums everything up really.
All this 'done a job on Liverpool' talk is nonsense. He's took an almost full strength side (minus Martial) to play a Liverpool team who were nowhere near there best with Coutinho & Firminho looking leggy, probably jet lagged, Lallana not been fit enough to start & Wijnaldium injured & he's played for a point. The game was there for the taking. It's 2 points dropped, not one gained. And I can't understand why this game got more hype than Spurs - City, Arsenal - Liverpool, Chelsea - Liverpool. You always get a dull game when Mourinho's side play another top team. He's never took risks in big games since Guardiola's Barca battered his Real side 5-0
