Ever since Reading found us out a few months ago, teams know that they can exploit our willingness to throw men forward and keep possession. It has happened again & again. Morsy at CDM last night would have nullified Lansbury no end and we'd have been far less exposed at the back. We must play him there for the foreseeable in my opinion. With Armstrong and Winnall up front it's like playing pinball. You hit the ball forward and it will just ping straight back. Its got to be Bradshaw or Payne up top because they have the ability to hold the ball up and out-muscle defenders. This was demonstrated for periods when Tom came on last night. The next 11 should be: 4-1-4-1 GK: Davies RB: Yiadom RCB: Macdonald LCB: Jackson LB: Kpekawa CDM: Morsy RM: Janko RCM: Scowen LCM: Hourihane LM: Watkins ST: Bradshaw
Couple of points I agree on. Really like Morsy and would've preferred him in there. Also Bradshaw up top. However that XI...For me Roberts has to play. Id look to maybe go him and Macdonald Kpekawa is never a left back in my eyes, he terrifies me Not sure what Janko has done to deserve a start? For me he looked a little clueless last night, granted in difficult circumstances. And Watkins will have a 3 match ban now surely?
