I think we need a more balanced team.

Evans, right footed although he's played left back for a while.

Kpekawa, don't think we'll see him in the first team for a while. They want to develop him.

Yiadom. Very limited at ight back going forward and even more so on the left. doesn't work.

Now I did know Templeton was out onloan but I thought Barnsley could recall him.

He's only in the team because there is no other option.

Not sure about that. Usually you can't recall with the new FL rules as is the case with Moncur but it may be different with players going out to Non-League.

Evans overlaps a lot from what I've seen which is what we really need. Kpekawa is unfortunate this league is so unforgiving as he's a clear talent for the future. Yiadom has put in a lot of good balls in the box, we can't have him leaving us too exposed.

Maybe Evans could play then. I just want someone that will get round the winger. Take one of their men away. I don't understand why he doesn't do it.

    Davies
    Yiadom MacDonald (*) Roberts White
    Janko Morsy Hourihane Hammill
    Winnall Bradshaw

If we had the personnel I'd go with 4-4-1-1 but unfortunately Moncur is off sulking.

In Hemsy style * denotes a lia k of real alternatives.

Kent/ Williams both can play AM Jimmy. Both more AM's than wide players imo

I'd agree with that, but I'm not sure White will be fit so would still go with Bree and Yiadom

I've only seen Williams do it against Fleetwood in the JPT and he as awful. I know at Fulham he played more of a DM role so I'd be a it reticent especially after so long out. If Kent was in better form I could see him as an option but suspect he would work bertter with a more traditional target man rather than with Bradshaw or Winnall or Armstrong.

Armstrong's used to playing with an attacking midfielder Jimmy.

Be more patient on the ball. Pass it and look to get it into the am and slide the ball down the sides of the centre backs. It's what he plays with for Newcastle u23's and junior England teams that he scores plenty for. With AA's pace the oppo defence defends deep and Williams and Hourihane control and dictate the play with plenty of width from the full backs and the wide men trying to run from out to in. or defend high and AA Kent Janko target running in behind. Janko and AA are quick and Kent will cause them problems with been so confident off either foot, Butterfield like.

Yes I can see Armstrong on his own if we have Morsy or as you suggest to feed balls through to him. I know you are convinced about Kent as an AM for me I guess I'd have to see it because I can quite picture it in my head. I'd also worry about Kent!s form which has been pretty lacklustre recently. I really like Williams as a player not sure it's fair on him to use him as anything other than a sub until he hits match fitness. When you are struggling for that it's when you are likely to overstretched and get injured.

He's played a lot in the u23's Jimmy a lot over the last few month. I'm told he's played well and he's enjoying playing again, well that's something PH also said a few days ago.

Kent played AM for Liverpool in early pre season and got rave reviews. Watched the game against Fleetwood online and he was motm in that game. Played other games too did well was what I read on the liverpool forum/ papers online. I think it's a role he could excel at. I think he's got more to his game than Buttefield but I see a lot of butterfield in him.

We've been missing that since White got injured. There's no doubt Hammill is a lot better when the full back is distracted by an overlapping run.

Agree. 1 attacking left footer when we've got no out and out left footed winger's amazes me but I saw this months ago. Said it before but whoever was in the recruitment process this summer needs to look at themself hard. Nothing short of crazy.

How do you know we didn't try to get someone in?

Were not a club that can afford to have 2 or 3 players of equal ability for each position, and have them sitting on the bench.

Clubs were openly saying they wanted to loan players out. Chelsea Tottenham West Ham. They wouldn't want massive wage covers for these players. It's all about development for them.

Go and get it done. Bilic said he wanted to loan Oxford out if he could. He shits all over the likes of Roberts and Macdonald.
