I'd be very surprised if we went back in for him, but I've no doubt he's being watched by clubs further up the footballing pyramid than Cambridge.
He's not good enough. Don't get me wrong, he should be playing a better standard of football than League 2 but should be somebody decent in League 1 coming in for him and not us or anybody else in our league.
I disagree. Thought he was good in league 1 and for the most part was played out of position - whenever I watched him I genuinely thought he has a lot of potential. Has now got more development in him. I'd certainly go back in for him, especially if we lose Conor. Ten times the player / attitude of Moncur Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
There's a lot better players than Luke Berry mate and he's definitely not a replacement for Conor Hourihane.
Let's just enjoy our sell on clause if clubs take notice of him and have a bidding war. I'd not want him back though.
He was played as a winger though!! Which he clearly wasn't comfortable with. Absolutely wasted when he was hear. If we had been able to develop his talent he could have been a very very good championship player. Think we let him go too soon.
Personally, I wouldn't have let him go. Still think that Berry and Williams would have a place in this squad. Perfectly willing to admit that I'm no expert though.
We'll never truly know of he was good enough as he was never played in his best position. He was decent though and I was gutted when we let him go. It will be interesting to see if he does get a move to the Championship or League 1 mind. #TeamsLikeBarnsley
He was sold because Cambridge offered him guaranteed first team football and we were unable to. #TeamsLikeBarnsley
