    Do you

Count the CLUB or Ground when saying you've been or not.

Either got 3/4 in the championship to do depending on which one. Don't think i'll do the ground one but the club shouldn't be a problem.

This isn't me showing off. It's me asking a question for those that go away and all that.

Ground. That means you can count the same club more than once, so it sounds better. You can count the old and new Wembley stadiums too, and Cardiff. Every little helps.

I count grounds, but only where I've watched the Reds.
Currently on 93 but one of my mates has visited about 150, so I'm still classed as a casual traveller.

I count both but it's going to be hard to get the updated set. I've been to 33 grounds that no longer exist!!

I count grounds. Been to 79 to watch Barnsley of those currently in the league plus the likes of Tranmere, Lincoln, old/new Wembley, Millennium Stadium etc. Arsenal was obviously at Highbury and been to both grounds at Chesterfield, Rotherham, Reading, Bolton, Leicester, Doncaster etc

You can do it as you see fit, but this is deemed the right way to do it.

Going by their rules I've done 66, but counting the club's that have gone out of the league, and the former grounds it's going on towards the 92.

Grounds. I'm on 83 current and just over a 100 including non league and ex league clubs. Been to every league ground except West Ham's new one though some not watching the Reds.

Both. Coventry City are the only club I have seen the Reds play at 3 different "home" grounds. All since the turn of the millennium.

All of the grounds I've been to are still in existence I believe.

I find that quite odd. Which means that I never went to Millmoor, Saltergate or Bellvue.

I did go to Don Valley when Rotherham played there, once against us in a friendly and once during an international break to see Rotherham get taken apart against Shrewsbury. Although it had 5 goals in it and I was a neutral, it was an absolutely dreadful game. It's the one and only 4th tier match I've ever been to and it made me realise that I never want us to drop to that level.

Can I count West Hams new ground if I was there to watch athletics instead of Football?

Can I count Northampton twice - both to see us play Northampton and to see us play Coventry?

Ive never actually counted the grounds I have been to but Id guess its around half the current league grounds and a handful of non league
I bet Hemsy hasnt seen our U23's play at Havant and Waterlooville

What about grounds you've played on, but not watched a competitive game at? ;-)

Also done tons of Non League games for no other reason than it was the nearest game that evening.

There's a counter ap somewhere on Facebook that scores you on all the grounds, past and present, and I think there's a non league one too.

Rotherham are the only one for me with three home grounds visited - Millmoor, Don Valley and the New York stadium

7 I've not been to if you count the clubs, 9 if it's the grounds, (Huddersfield, I think it was back in the 4th division when I went there and Rotherham, last time I went there was 81/82 when we won 4-2, still one of the best games I've ever seen).

    Not been to

    Brighton
    Reading
    Fulham
    Preston
    Brentford
    Cardiff
    Wigan

As I'm an old bugger, I've been going to away matches since the 1960's. I've no idea how many clubs & grounds I've visited. But, if forced to choose between the two, I'd always select the ground visited.
I am extremely appreciative of the fact that during my formative years as a Barnsley fan, it was my late Father who was the one who paid for everything. Until I started work and earned my own money to pay for myself, he paid for my season ticket, any travelling costs, entrance money at the away grounds, Bovril, everything. However, as we always sat in the old stand (at the Ponty End wing), he refused to pay for one of the club's cushions for either of us. He felt that the 3d cost per cushion per match was an absolute rip off!:D:D
This was my first away game. As Rotherham that season played in an all red strip, Barnsley turned out in an all white kit. I was furious! How dare they make Barnsley change their colours? "Barnsley play in red and white. It should be Rotherham who change THEIR kit, NOT Barnsley!":D

I count clubs in the current 92 rather than grounds, done about 60 I think last time of counting but difficult to tick more off especially the League 2 clubs.

I've done that with Charlton. Valley, Selhurst and Upton Park.

Also, Bradford played at a few grounds after the fire. Definitely saw them play at Leeds road.
