More bluntly. The immigrants in Italy that he's not keen on what shade, by and large, do you think they are? And the ones like him that he approves of the ones like him what shade do you think they are? i don't think the chappie is a racist. I think lots of the things he posts are obsessed by race. There are sites where that sort of thing is normal they don't generally revolve around Oakwell.
I wish people would stop saying political correctness is about politeness, it's gone way past that and is now a way to control people and what they say, do, and even think.
If you choose to read his posts then that is a matter for you. tbh he ploughs a furrow that does not interest me. Far more perplexing is the agenda to have posters banned, irrespective of their obsession. This is not a zazo/reev scenario, where threads were invaded in order to post rhetorical mundane thoughtless mantras. Either take issue, or move on to matters that interest you. You can hardly complain that he ought not to blabber on here about what irks him in Tuscany, whilst at the same time bothering to psycho analyse him. This may be a football board. But I for one do not object to non football posts in the slightest.
Back to the original point, I'm really not sure Italians are fiercely patriotic. Most Italians are a bit embarrassed about the state of their country, they consider themselves Milanese, Veneto, Romanaccio, etc., before they consider themselves Italian, they don't know the words to their own national anthem, they look after their family and relatives but are suspicious of those beyond that, believing that they are out to rip them off (they are), there are enormous differences and divisions between north and south which go against Nationalism and indeed fairly popular political parties that would like to split the country up in various ways. Italians can be annoyingly insular when it comes to their food but I'm not sure that would constitute patriotism in anyway. Australians on the other hand...
I agree with you there. I'd always rather engage someone than ask that they were banned. I'd never ask that someone was. I actually liked Reev myself and found him amusing and the good Dr is a good egg according to all that know him. The Nudger chap was probably pushing some people abut far and doing so deliberately but again better just to say that to him rather than ban him. As for the psycho analysis I only did it to see if it would provoke some shouty dad typing IN CAPITAL LETTERS because that communicates your point so much better and of course it did. I don't object to non football posts. Kev's are always entertaining though we haven't had a best sauce for your bacon sarnie one for a bit. But as the Zazlos/Reev posts where the posters posted innumerable posts on the same subject so does TT. Onwards and upwards.
Again what colour do you think the immigrants in Italy are that he disapproves of and what colour are the ones like him that he approves of? A straight question.
Same as me then I'm Yorkshire, I'm English, I may be British but I'm not Euro ****in pean But I'm patriotic about England same as the whinging jocks are about Scotland

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-36080216 By and large that's not the migrant crisis facing Italy. Certainly not in terms of the 'illegal' immigrants.
Reev was like a wasp. Annoying but hard to ignore. He and zazo for some reason adopted lemming like personnas and jumped off a well warning-signed cliff. Though imo it ought to have been a limited disappearance, unless they couldn't help themselves - only admin know if there was more to it. I can't see the problem with Young Nudger. He braves the Arctic Circle in his string vest, sleeps with his pigeons and walks round like Andy Capp. We should embrace his computer literacy and his occasional parochial nuggets. Be nice - he may be the voice of the silent majority. I've been twice into Redfearns recently. I have no idea of the real identity of anyone on here. I think Nudge may be the one with the rifle and the axe in the corner. Best to be nice about him on here, just in case.
whatever the migrant crisis is he's entitled to his opinion, but nowhere have i seen him set about someone because of their colour...if most of the illegals are from africa then of course they are black, but he wasnt arguing against them because of this.
So we have the good immigrants. By and large white and the bad ones who are by and large not but that's just a coincidence. We are entering into my dad territory here. 'I'm not racist but...' Anyway enough from me on this. I'm boring myself.
The guy who wrote that is incorrect. nationalism does not equate with hatred. Just because he has posted on an online site does not make him accurate either. Nationalism is simply an expression of some idea of statehood, cultural identity, sense of 'togetherness', pride in one's country. Obviously all of that can be manipulated and made aggressive against others, and that is the problem for pro-nationalists I think, but in simple terms nationalism is not at all hateful.
I agree nationalism is not hateful as a word, it's just people like Farage, Trump and Nuttjack, along with news papers like the Daily Mail and The Sun that use the word to endors there hateful views.
