    Ok young Nudge. I was thinking earlier about the philosopher De Tocqueville and his seminal work Democracy in America in relation to the election of Donald Trump. When de Tocqueville discussed ideas of Irresistible revolution and soft despotism do you think he was predicting post ideological Trump's monocled view of society or are you more of a dialectic man yourself?

    Also Jimmy, de Tocqueville also argued against a "tyranny of the majority" which would oppose the claims of the Clinton supporters that Trump isn't legitimate as he didn't win the popular vote

    I guess as well you could argue that the vote for Trump focuses on the idea of social frustrations increasing as social conditions improve. Is he the embodiment of the idea that hatred of social privilege leads to the state concentrating more power on itself.

    I'm liking the idea of Philosophy with Young Nudger. It should definitely become a thing.
