Us good / them crap first half.

Them good / us crap second half.

I am not smart enough to explain why. Although it does seem a trait of ours to be de-energised and confidence deflated by the half time orange sucking.

Anyway, well done Reds! There's a good team to be made out of what we've got, especially if we can put it together for 90 mins at home.

Wouldn't say the defence was crap 2nd half we couldn't seem to get hold of the ball for any length of time, but other than that I'd say your bang on

Think it was more a case of the real Norwich turning up second half.

Well it was also a case of us losing the composure we had first half.

went on the back foot 2nd half because they came out flying. midfield dropped too deep and we won no 2nd balls. added to some dodgy passing out of defence. totally bossed first half but the referee was awful again

I didnt think we were crap in the second half. I thought we just had to show a different side of our game.

Yeah. We showed how we can crumble when the opposition get in our faces.

Keeper showed that he can dive over shots he should save.

Defence showed that while they kept their shape, they can resort to just lumping it anywhere when pressured, thus bringing pressure immediately back upon them.

Midfield showed how to retreat into their shells.

Forwards showed how it's not possible to operate without any service.

    Please read my original post.

And Shirley they aren't Premiership players by definition.

And secondly why weren't they doing in the first half what they did in the second?

It seemed to me that initially we were positive and prevented them from playing to their potential (plus they were crap).

We're all on the same side.

Simple answer is they changed their formation in the second half and outnumbered us in midfield.

That's why hecky went one up front and brought hamill on so scowen could get into the middle to help out more.

Why did they not start by outnumbering us in midfield?

Mmmmmm....well tbh it did seem as though they'd turned up expecting to win without putting any effort in.

They were probably the most unimpressive team to turn up so far, at Oakwell in the first half.

Alex Neil had said it would be a tough test for them prior to the game, but I think we were just too good in the first half.

They may have been happy to play on the break and go in one down at half time, but hourihanes screamer probably made them change plans and make two subs.
