Terrible. im sure if one of their players had gone down to tie his boot laces he'd have given them a free kick

Agreed. For him to be so consistently. Wrong I seriously. Wonder if he'd been on drugs

We have had some inept referees this season but him today was abysmal. The FA need to do something because it's embarrassing.

Says it all that we won and still complain about him. It was the guy who took the JPT final but he looked completely out of his depth today.

Someone said at half time that he was the best ref we've had down here this season. I know that's not really saying much but I've no idea what game he was watching.

The bloke was a joke. I hope his day job isn't as a carpet fitter. He measured 20 paces out for one of their first half free kicks.
That would have been a lot of wasted axminster.

He was a laugh a minute with the free kicks, I don't think he measured a single one properly.

Then for our free kick late in the match he didn't even bother pacing or drawing a line until our players protested at which point he just guessed where it should be. He was a joke.

    The ref wasn't that bad.

He let a lot of things go.

He didn't cave in to their claims for handball penalties etc.

He has to deal with all manner of things going on.

Although he did mark out the most distant wall in the history of football.

And then proceeded now to bother counting the steps after that. Very bizarre and yet again a poor performance from the officials.

Nailed on in a few years time it will come out how many back handers refs are taking. No other explanation

    That or drugs.

Explain to me how, without being seriously inept or bent, today's ref could allow THAT free kick to be taken with a wall so far away. There is no justification or explanation
