Pretty annoyed with himself - could he have done better ? Difficult to tell from Ponty. It isn't a dig - thought his handling was superb today - had to deal with a lot of crosses. Few dodgy kicks but looked comfortable most of the afternoon

It was from a fair way out and not travelling that much. Could definitely have got down quicker, bounce might have deceived him a bit.

Immaterial given the result though, thankfully.

My thoughts were that he possibly could have done better but Davies is one of the last players worthy of criticism. He doesn't make many mistakes so I can forgive him the few he makes. Like you I sit in the Ponty so I'd like to see it back.

Yes. He obviously wasn't expecting the shot from there and switched off. I think his reaction showed it was a lapse in concentration which annoyed him as much as us but in the end it didn't cost us any points. I'm not going to hammer him for it as there was no harm caused and he's been generally superb this season.

I like him as a keeper - not critical of him at all - he looked annoyed with himself - kicking post etc

    Gone straight through him imo.

should have done better. Not sure what he was thinking but i'm sure they will work on it.

Looked a regulation save like the Forest free kick he let in. He'd probably say the same with how pissed off he was to get to his feet as quick as possible, run to the ball and boot it as far as he could in frustration. Really good on his crosses though came for them all afternoon very well. Kicking was poor a lot of the time. Think he lost some confidence from the one they scored from because he parried out wide a second half save which had he kept a clean sheet to that point he may have grabbed.

I thought this afternoon it was a bit soft, and that he should have done better. However, having seen it again on Sky I have to say that the ball was travelling more quickly than I thought. I think it was one of very very few lapses in concentration this afternoon, which must have pleased Hecky no end. Six points from the three games ending with Tuesday night's fixture is three more than I expected.

Unfortunately will always be prone to the odd daft mistake that will cost us.

Great shot stopper, good distribution but does remind of Luke Steele, will always have a stupid moment in him.

He could've done better, and judging by his reaction, I think he knows it. In his defence, I think the bounce may have deceived him.

It was some hit to be fair, but I think Davies will think he could have done better.

Last week he pulled off an incredible save. Life of a keeper.

I thought he got done with the pace of it, will have to watch the recording. Looked a cracking goal though at the time.

I had a good view of it and I thought he dived over the top of it. It's not the first long-range shot that he's misjudged this season despite seeing it coming with time to spare. He has lapses of concentration too often. Outfield players can get away with it but not keepers. He pulled himself together afterwards and got his focus back but I can think of 4 or 5 howlers at home this season that have cost us goals starting with Northampton. That's one a month just at home. If he can get rid of these mistakes he'll be worth his place but I wonder how long the club will tolerate his costing us goals like today.

To be fair 4 clean sheets out of the last 7 isn't too bad at this level

It was a howler. I had a good view of it in the East Upper and my reaction at the game was the same as Seattle Red's. He dove over the top of it. Having seen the recording, it was travelling quicker than I thought though.

You make him sound like a bit of a liability which is simply not the case. He's young and still learning and I think he'll go on to be a top class keeper. I doubt very much if there are any doubts within the club about his value to our squad.

Went like a bullet, but maybe could have done better. I'm sure he'd hold his hands up.

I think the poor camera work makes it look faster than it was. It was an howler and he had a very poor game in my opinion but I'd much rather he had his rare poor games in victories than losses.
