A start at Blackpool would be a good option. Rotate the squad, but not too much to give us the best chance of winning.

We`ve waited long enough for him now its his turn to wait for an opportunity to arise. When he gets it lets hope he comes up to your expectations.

good goal cross from the wing ,majority of our goals are long crosses or corners or set pieces, glad we score them, just think Williams is only player able to thread passes through for strikers to run onto and score ,everyone obviously thinks he is no good, so we will wait and see what happens if he gets a chance

We're at a higher level - a lot of what came off last year currently isn't because we're up against better opposition - set pieces are a vital part of our armoury - not sure Williams is the creative solution - seem to recall him as more one to create space and time for Hourihane etc to get on the ball

I agree, if he's fit I think he should replace Kent.

Kent has just had his most consistent two games in Brum and Norwich. Not seen how he did at that place but it sounded like he played well.

I can't see why we'd suddenly drop him for Williams of all people.

I don't think we should be making any decisions on changing the team based on last night. We've just won our previous 2 games, and had enough chances to have won last night as well.

It was at hillsborough, and we just don't win there, or draw for that matter.

    Has anyone said that?

I know I haven't. I just said he isn't the best option for opening up defences.

I think he's a good player, and if he can get himself mentally and physically fit, is an asset to the squad. Whether or not he will cut it at this level we can't say though.

If and when he gets a proper chance we'll find out - but the fourteen or sixteen that have played the majority of the season have been doing well, Watkins, Kent, Hammill, even scowen tying down wide places - I don't see a reason for wholesale change or risk.

When his chance comes I sincerely hope he takes it. But it's not time yet.

This. No need for panic changes to the starting 11. Same 11 for me, injuries/suspensions permitting at Cardiff.

Despite all the negative responses you've got in this thread I do actually agree with this statement. I think Kent played really well at the weekend but overall I think we should be expecting a bit more from him, maybe time will tell. I personally rate Williams highly too, but not sure a direct replacement for Kent is something which would work. We're playing well with width, but Williams operates best centrally in the hole between midfield and attack - a role we currently don't utilise. I would however give him more time from the bench, bringing him on for a striker towards the end of a game if defending a lead.
