    Do you mean 'The Producers' Mel Brooks with Zero Mostel Gene Wilder or the slightly crap remake with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick (Nathan Lane was excellent but the remake unnecessary) Springtime for Hitler was a song in the film

    Agreed, one of the greatest comedy films ever made (the original not the strangely 'meh' remake). Arguably the best of all time (Brooks would have a few in that list that's for sure), though that's obviously a debate for when we're all ten pints or more into a BBS night out!

    We took my Ma down to see the stage show when it was first on in the West End. Nathan Lane and Lee Evans in the lead roles, both absolutely brilliant, loads of physical stuff. The whole place (including Ma) just p*ssed itself laughing throughout. Based on what I saw they should have given Evans the film role too, he'd have been miles better than Broderick.
