Very harsh I think he's going to be great for us and already shown glimpses. He's just spent three months injured and came from non league not long before that so let him get upto speed first. Dissapointed that just like the Huddersfield game he had a great chance to change the course of the match and it didn't happen. I'm sure he will get his first goal soon.
Not sure he has the touch and finish to go with the muscle and speed. It's early days, but we can't hang around too long waiting for summat to come good cos we really do need a fully working big un as an option .
True. I think he's in the side earlier than is ideal though. He's the only option for a bit a physicality in the front line so I understand why he's getting on
He's played all of 7 games and has barely played 20 minutes in each of those. Give him a chance! If he's costing us goals defensively, here's an idea: leave him up to for corners etc. so he doesn't have to defend! Then in the mean time he can work on defensive attributes
I think he defo has potential but a massive step up to championship footy. I'd like to see us sign a more physical option in the transfer window with a bit more experience and see if we can loan Payne out to league 1 for some serious match time to develop,
He'll be a good striker for us, he has it all. The quicker he gets a goal the better for him and us... Confidence is the biggest factor for any footballer.
Once he gets his first goal he'll be fine, and I don't think it'll be long. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
And it's not like he's played loads either; even though it's mid December I doubt he's played more than 3 games' worth of time on the pitch
Liability at th back we should put him on the half way line but I have to say I think there's a diamond to shine in Payne.
