Debating on whether to drive or go on the coach on Saturday, but coach is so slow. Has anyone got any info about decent parking spots around the ground? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
As said above, there's an away car park - but, funnily enough, I don't know anything about it lol. I can give you some alternatives though: As you leave the A4232, take the left lane at the bottom of the hill. Follow the road about 100 yards and there's a car park in the Athletics stadium on the left. Think it's around £6? Alternatively, go another 100 yards past this and turn left onto Lawrenny Avenue. There's street parking after about 500 yards of this road - but this goes quickly so depends what time you get there. There's also a school that opens up its grounds on match days for parking. Also, if you go to the end of the road there's a 5-a-side centre which charges around £5 - but you get a free beer in their bar. Can take a while getting out of this street after the game though - we usually go for a pint in the rugby club to let the traffic subside first. There's also street parking on Hadfield Road - which is straight ahead after you leave the A4232. That may be the easiest for the away section & quick getaway after the game.
Cheers mate, the away car park is mentioned on the football grounds guide, but it's listed under "arriving by coach" so a little bit unclear. Near a HSS apparently? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Yeah, HSS is on Sloper Road. If you turn left at the bottom of the hill after leaving the A4232, go past the Athletics stadium car park and follow the road until you come to a set of traffic lights. Turn right and you're on Sloper Road. Pretty sure that the away car park takes cars as well but, like I said, I'm not familiar with it for obvious reasons.
What's your prediction Bluebird? I see we have identical form over last 6 games W2 D2 L2. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Can't see us losing tbh, would like to think we"ll sneak a win. We"re a different proposition under Colin, the players are actually trying - and seem to be enjoying it. The two games we've lost were at Newcastle & an in-form Villa. I was at both & we deserved at least a point at St James - and dominated the game at Villa. Lord only knows how we lost that. That said, the first half against Wolves on Tuesday was as bad as we were under Slade & Trollope, and that's really saying something! Warnock tore a strip of them at half time apparently & there was only one side in it after that. But in this division, anything can happen & usually does lol
I'm not going to make any predictions, cos they usually slap me in the face ☺ Looking forward to the game though, and the new ground. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
