    I apologise for insulting you yesterday. I know you insulted me (and SuperTyke) but that is by the by.

    I misjudged you Nudge, and I suspect I won't be alone. With some of your posts - such as how victims of paedophiles should deal with their attackers - I didn't realise how much the word "pleb" would offend you, and I am sorry that you felt you needed to report it to site admin. I will read your posts with new eyes from now on and I will do my best not to upset you in anyway.

    Hmmm, not wanting to pick an argument, but I think it's offensive because when it's used by someone, they mean "I'm a better sort of person than you", and that's what's so offensive.
