I don't mean what you think is the best, I mean your personal favourite.

For the record, mine is Jingle All The Way - Jack Frost (starring Michael Keaton) a close second.

Love Actually is wonderful British cheese. For films often shown at Christmas, Labyrinth is one that I never, ever tire of.

Love Actually for a top notch cast, brilliant acting and plenty of humour as well

Home Alone and Home Alone 2 are not just the greatest Christmas films, but the best films ever made. With the best soundtracks

Bad Santa for me, and wonderful life, but most old films for the more traditional feel.

Don't like Christmas films as a rule

but Turbo Man raised a chuckle, if only because I remember many Christmas shopping trips where the "must have" toy of the year was sold out everywhere.

The answer is Elf, obviously, but do love Jingle All The Way - an underrated Christmas classic. Just to hear Arnie mangle the words 'Turbo Man' is alone worth the price of the DVD. I was much heartened by finding this on my hotel TV in Rio this summer. At 1pm on a weekday. In August. Lost absolutely nothing being in Portuguese with no subtitles.

The Muppets' Christmas Carol is my favourite, but Christmas isn't complete without Christmas Vacation and Love Actually.

This crops up so much in Christmas film debates. I have to say I've never seen it but I intend to over the next week or 2.
