Club still waiting clarification on who was shown the red card, who should have been shown the red card and why

Cant appeal until they know what the sending off was about. He suggested that if we appeal it implies we accept he was shown the red card. Did say he was very surprised when he got to the stand and saw they still had 11 and we only had 10 on the pitch

Which seems strange -surely the club are informed from what is in the referees report, and that should be available in a day or so

If I didn't know better I might almost say it sounds like there is some after the event getting a story straight going on ,but clearly that cant be the case. I guess the ref is just a bit slow submitting his report.

    Full interview is on Player

The fact that Hammill walked down the tunnel shouldve been clarity enough. It was blatant. The ref wasnt incompetant he took his chance to get ine of ours sent off. The amount of times we get the sh*t end of the stick against them is borderline sinister.

Sounds like the referee is delaying returning his report so BFC can't commit to admitting our player recieved red, which means Hammill won't be able to play tomorrow or next 2 games. If we do appeal when it is returned and its refused (which wouldnt surprise me) then thats an extended ban. Something has to be done we cant carry on with bent referees.

The ref clearly showed the red card to hutchinson. Hammill should have said I'm not going cos you've showed the red card to someone else. They say refereeing is hard but it chuffing isn't they just make it look hard .

It effing stinks man, and Hecky's showing he's not very strong in managerial terms in backing his players, manager's like Fergy, Cloughy and even Colin at Cardiff
    would now be going berzerk.

What are you on about, if Hecky has a go at the FA or the ref he gets fined/banned, dont forgot he got sent to the stands as well so making more comments will only land him a longer ban and not sort the Hammill situation either. It's got nothing to do with not backing up his players, also Hecky hasn't attacked any of his players like Fergie and Clough did and if you think Colin is an example a manager should be following your mental

It's a farce that on Friday morning we still don't have clarification on what happened.

Maybe the FA's too busy trying to punish the Millwall fans from Wembley?

I just cannot believe that we did not appeal straight away, as it would have shown a) that it was another of the softest red cards this season (or any) and b) that the referee had not got a clue what he was doing and seemed to have been spooked/phased by the whole incident. It would have drawn attention to the confusion surrounding the very indecisive, unclear and over-reacting refereeing. Can't believe we have not appealed. Do we know how to?

If we appeal then we are admitting that he was shown a red and then possibly facing a longer ban if it is not overturned. If we can win the case that he never even received a red then there's nothing to appeal.

That ref gave me an idea for a cool party trick... Write someones name on a red card and put it in the back pocket of whoever nominated, then put their head on top of sweeping brush and rotate around it a dozen times. After that get them to take out the red card and see if they can waft it at the correct person named on the card.

Maybe a game we can play at half time.. :)

Brian Clough rarely, if ever, challenged referee's decisions and would heavily fine players for indiscretions which is why his teams had very good disciplinary records.

Where did I say that Hecky has a go at the F.A. Greeny ? he should be trying to reverse Hammills red card(because if that was a red card then my pr1cks a blota) and backing his player up,(never read where he as) and where in my post does it say Hecky as attacked any of his players like Fergie and Clough?, Greeny again where did I say Colin is an example a manager should be following? your a bugger for twisting a post round, I was only giving examples of other managers, as for calling me mental you don't know me I don't think you'd say that if you did.

To try and have his players red card overturned he has to consult the FA, so to publically complain about the red card when we haven't even received confirmation of the suspension would not be viewed very well about the FA, I never said you said Hecky attacked his players but your using managers as examples that have both physically and verbally attacked players, then you advocate looking at Colin as how he defends his players clearly indicating that is what Hecky should be doing. I don't twist posts at all you just dont read other peoples, and as for me calling you mental, you've called me both morngy and a child before so dont throw stones in glass houses
