Read this earlier http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2016/12/07/socceroos-motivation-williams-aims-fly-barnsley Really happy for him. When a footballer can play they change people's opinions and make the point. When a footballer can't even train and he's getting alsorts thrown at him it must be awful. On here Twitter and at oakwell. He wasn't just picking up money. He wasn't fakeing it and been soft. Those that said release him he'll never play for us and the rest.
Some players can train and play and still people's opinions don't change. But I agree. Pleased for him. And Sam Winnall of course. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey Hemsie we've won!! Try being delighted about the result, the town, the fans, the team, the coach, the whole thing!! We're all delighted for Ryan Williams too. We can face yuletide with a big smile. Merry Christmas!!!!
Amazing. When he gets all sorts thrown at him too. Those that said release him he'll never make it in Champ etc Top boy! Back to Williams, did raise an eyebrow when he was brought on, but right place at right time. He deserves his moment Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We won. But this threads more than about a single match. It's about a mental state and the journey he's been on for almost two years
For once, I absolutely agree with Hemsie. The "wage-stealing" nonsense was shameful. Thrilled for the lad. Just wish he had as much respect for the rest of our team...
He's no doubt still on his own personal journey, just like we all are. And he'll be luvving it right now. Luvving it.
Completely agree Phil. Would hope every reds fan is delighted for him. I've been very vocal in my dislike of how he was treated. In fact the way Johnson treated him was beyond forgiveness and told me a lot about the man. I hope Ryan can enjoy his moment, and kick on with his career.
All BFC fans will be delighted for him. I am definitely. I now want him to show the same loyalty to us.
I believe he's on 9. Excellent though nonetheless: on course for 20 goals in his debut Championship season. My worry now is him leaving; he's the type of player who a big championship club would sign, get goals from him then get promoted and never play him, like Jordan Rhodes But I'm going to enjoy Christmas and seeing this amazing group of players continue to develop
Delighted for Williams like every one else, he should be fully fit now and I look forward to watching him play a full game when Hecky gives him his chance.
All will be happy with the winning goal, but there are a lot who should hang their heads, the stick that kid got when out injured. Lee Johnson is one of them.
