    And I'd rather we moved up the league by winning 3 points ourselves than hoping for a result elsewhere. You knew exactly what I meant, don't try and act smart, it doesn't suit you.

    Nobody mentioned hoping for a result, he asked what result people would prefer. Obviously certain results throughout the season can have a benefit or negative effect on a league table. To pretend that we are going to win every single game and that the results of there clubs is irrelevant is frankly stupid.

    As a rule Id always want the lower placed team to lose - on the basis that the more teams the more points behind us, the better.

    Except of course when the opposition is Leeds or the piggies.

    For today - Villa to win by less than enough to overtake us.
