    It's painful to watch - both the turgid cricket and England effectively being bored to defeat.

    It's the same way that the sub continent teams can't cope with a swinging ball. We can't compete on pudding pitches where all you have to do is bat for hours and hours on end. Our players like Stokes and Root would rather blast a pretty 60 or 70 then think they've done their job as that's decent on an English pitch.

    Biggest loser in this is cricket - imagine a young one trying to fake interest in the last 4 days.
