BBC Look North last night: "Jamie Vardy from Sheffield has been nominated for BBC Sports Personality of the Year, he was a member of the Leicester United team which won the Premiership title." And from Wales online, in their preview of the Cardiff City game: "For Barnsley, Ivan Toney is suspended, so he will have to sit out this match." For once, I'm looking forward to Football Heaven on Radio Dee Dar tonight, to see what gems they come up with whilst they attempt their escape from the can of worms they opened on Saturday.
What ever is said it will be total denial and more lies and if any of us react in away, then they deem it attack related, they will go on the defensive and then cut whoever off. In all the years I've listened they've always been bias to both sheffield teams... I for one would have more respect if they were honest and held their hands up and admitted it. Why go to the trouble of asking Colin on the show if it isn't to defuse a potential time bomb that's been created by a mate of colins from radio sheffield sending him the said incident. If it wasnt true there would be no need to go to such lengths to deny it happened. The sooner we bin them for good the sooner the better for me...ban the ******* from interviews and oakwell again I say....only this time for good Rant over
In fairness to Wales Online Ivan Toney was listed on the FA bans page along with Adam Hammill in fact if you look now he is still there! http://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/discipline/suspensions and enter Barnsley I think the FA listing a player we don't have as suspended is far worse than a journalist reporting it without independently checking elsewhere
