What meals are acceptable to put vinegar on?

I think we will all agree that chips are acceptable but what about for example a sausage? I've been told that's weird

    its not weird

I mean when you have sausage egg and chips... you get vinegar on the sausage. I do like vinegar on mushy peas and even mint sauce on mushy peas. A lot of salad dressings contain vinegar too.

    I can't stand the stuff.

Our lasses sister literally drenches ANY food she eats in it - every time she's eating some food, you just get an overwhelming stench of vinegar, it's vile.

I know people that put it on ready salted crisps. Not for me.

Mushy peas is a good shout though.

Bought some raspberry vinegar earlier today in Waitrose. No idea what I plan to do with it but the jar was pretty.

    Raspberry Vinegar

My Gran used to give me a spoonful of that if ever I had a cough.... it always seemed to work wonders. Not sure if she mixed with honey or syrup though.

    Oktoberfest Lager Stew:-

Oktoberfest beer, vinegar, smoked beef sausage, potatoes, caramelized onions and golden cabbage.

Ok, I'd had several 'tasters' of one of those ingredients first but this went down well afterwards.

I used to drink vinegar straight from the bottle as a kid. Love the stuff.
