Reading a few of their comments, I think they assume they could just take Winnall if they so wished.

Some of their posts mention offering us a million quid, and their owner will have our pants down. Also how silly a club "our size" can't afford to not have players like him on a contract.

Since when did Huddersfield become Billy big ********?

I know their owner is wealthy, and they're doing well in this league, and their gates are decent based on excellent pricing and offers, but I really don't see any of our players going there.

I just don't see going there as progression for winnall.

Their fans are nearly as deluded as Leedss & Wednesday's. They're "The Yorkshire Club" after all!

Sides who have half a season of success seem to go all Wednesday. That's the Championship for you! Fortunately this season, we've been knocking a few of the Big Time Charlie's down a peg or two this season and long may it continue.

I think their success will be a flash in the pan their key players are all on loan from premiership clubs and over the past 20 years they have mostly been in a division below us. Now they are in the top 6 they have gone all wednesday but they are a similar size club to ours and I doubt sam's head will be turned by them.

This is the thing with a lot of fans. They mistake a period of improved fortunes and the increase in support it brings, for being a bigger club.

There are quite a few clubs in this league that I'd say are bigger than us, and a few smaller, but Huddersfield don't fall into either category for me, and I'm sure the Town fans I know would agree.

I'd be surprised if hudders came in for him but I wouldn't be surprised if he left. More money, higher in the league, still a yorkshire club and they have a chance of going up. He's too valuable to us though so we wouldn't sell him anyway...

There fans are completely deluded, also fickle. Being from Huddersfield I've suffered this more than most and hence the reason that i dispise them as a club as most on here dispise Leeds, Wendies or Blunts! Big gates because they give tickets away weekly. Oh how i wait for there little bubble to burst. It cant happen quick enough!

We gave it large when we pinched Lee Crooks from under their noses. Swings and roundabouts.............

Kind of agree about our best players and contracts though. A lot of quality could go for bod all, and never mind the reasons for this....its still not great business

It's not but we paid what 200k for conor 250k for sam all the players who are out of contract were signed for little money really. I know it's not good to lose them but these players got us out of league one and to mid table in the championship they have paid there fees back and more really. Hope they stay though.

One of my most hated players - there's a lot of competition over the last 15 years or so aswell!
