His poor lifestyle choices sadly finally seem to have caught up with him.

    This may sound harsh but....

Am i the only one who absolutly couldn't give a **** that this person has died. Yes hes very young to die and its sad for anyone that age to die. But this bloke got caught playing with himself in a public toilet, he crashed his car off his head on drink and drugs and could hav ekilled innocent people. I have lost people close to me who i actually care about who as far as i know have done **** all wrong in their lives. I honestly do not care this this bloke has died

Not really harsh in the slightest as you have obviously got reasons to feel the way you do.

His life style was not of the norm but at the end of the day he has unfortunately died at a very early age.

    All very sad.

A great singer of some great songs so yes I'm sad. We aren't touched too often by genius. In terms of lifestyle choices I can't say I care. I mean Lennon and McCartney, Harrison and Starr took more drugs than George would ever dream of doesn't stop us hoping that Macca keeps defying the odds.

Or the other side of the coin, Richard Osman as tweeted that a woman on Deal or No Deal told us that she needed 15k for IVF treatment. George Michael secretly phoned the next day and gave her the £15k, I respect your opinion Andy but just because some people have their demons it doesn't necessarily make them a bad person.

At certain times in life you are better keeping your opinions to yourself. Someone died here !

Re: Seeing the reports today confirming what other posters on here have said.....

He may have had his own demons but, he apparently gave millions to charities and individuals who were in difficult situations.
Furthermore, whilst you could argue he had the money to do so, unlike some of those rich people who donate publicly with a 'look at me -what a great person I am'. or leak their 'giving' to the press, he did so privately and in secret. Genuinely caring man, albeit flawed.

On that basis, whilst I fully understand your view of him regarding his drug/drink driving convictions based on your personal loss, I wonder if you have softened your opinion on the sort of man he was?
