Doubt we'll get him if we have to compete with other championship clubs. If he still has 2 1/2 years left on his contract I can't see us getting him for much less than £1 million, which is much more than we usually pay.

Fulham or QPR will have him I would have thought. Looks a decent prospect. I'm sure we're in the market for 3-4 players, as we'll lose one or two either in the window, or the summer. Can't see us keeping Connor or Sam. Hope I'm wrong. We don't need to sell, but there will be a wage structure, which will stop us paying top dollar to keep them.
